AEA Releases New Video, “Alaska Loses”

“Nancy Pelosi, who leads the Democrats in the House, and Harry Reid, who leads the Democrats in the Senate, are hostile to finding and using more domestic energy resources like coal, oil, and natural gas.  Our new video alerts the citizens of Alaska what that means for them:  higher prices for energy and fewer jobs for all Alaskans.”

Washington, DC – Washington, DC – The American Energy Alliance (AEA) today released a new video entitled, Alaska Loses , to alert Alaskans that the current leadership in Congress is hostile to the energy – the lifeblood of the Alaska economy.President Thomas Pyle issued the following statement:

“Nancy Pelosi, who leads the Democrats in the House, and Harry Reid, who leads the Democrats in the Senate, are hostile to finding and using more domestic energy resources like coal, oil, and natural gas.  Our new video alerts the citizens of Alaska what that means for them:  higher prices for energy and fewer jobs for all Alaskans.”

“We will continue to point out the statements of those who oppose finding and using energy domestic energy resources on and offshore.  More domestic energy production means lower energy prices for Alaska families and businesses, more jobs, and greater energy independence.  We will keep working to educate voters, government officials, and other stakeholders until everyone understands this fundamental fact.  I am confident that the citizens of Alaska, given the choice, would prefer to use the energy resources they own over that of thugs like Hugo Chavez.”

“Alaska isblessed with the most abundant energy resources in the nation.  Safeproduction provides good paying jobs and bigger Permanent Funddividends for our families.
But the Leaders in Washington don’t agree.
Ø Nancy Pelosi clip: “This call for drilling in protected areas is a hoax – it’s an absolute hoax.”
Ø Harry Reid clip:  “Oil makes us sick – we’ve got to stop using fossil fuels.”

If this is the leadership of change…all of Alaska loses out.”
