About Fudge:

Marcia Fudge has been the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 11th congressional district since 2008. President Joe Biden has nominated Fudge as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for the Biden administration. In August of 2019, Congresswomen Fudge came out in support of the Green New Deal.

In an interview following her announcing support for the GND she said: “It [the Green New Deal] doesn’t really say what it’s going to do or how it’s going to do it,” Fudge said. “But it’s important enough for my constituents to be on, so I don’t have any problem with it at all.”
